Hello my name is Mario.
Welcome to the first episode of this new video series.
that I like to call
Road to Medal of Honor Warfighter.
Starting today August 1st
I will bring you news related to Medal of Honor Warfighter.
And no, in case you were wondering, I won’t be leaving Battlefield 3
I just don’t want to miss the opportunity of sharing with you news about this
game.
In this first episode, I will cover three topics
The first one is not news anymore
but still relevant to the conversation and that
is the inclusion of the Battlefield 4 Beta in Medal of Honor Warfighter.
The second topic is about the official screenshots
released on the facebook page and
what that means
and last but not the least, some news regarding an analysis that
estimates weak sales.
Remember that you can click the annotations below or the links in the description if

Let’s start with the first story.
All this happened around 2 weeks ago
when supposedly an image that showed up on origin
said that the game will include access to the beta of Battlefield 4
Now we know that this was a glorified gimmick and a premeditated leak by EA.
What bothered me and bothered a lot of other gamers was that they used Medal of Honor
Honor Warfighter
to promote Battlefield 4 and at the same time they announced the new Battlefield
when Battlefield 3 feels still feels like a new game
not a really smart move but
they did something similar with Medal of Honor and Battlefield 3 two years ago.
So, I wasn’t that surprised either.
Personally I always dislike this trampoline kind-of-strategy when some
companies use a game to hype up another game.
Let's move on to the next story.
Starting last Monday, the official facebook page of Medal of Honor had some sort of
of contest
and they asked to 'Like'
a particular screenshot,
the idea was simple we get an X amount of Likes and we will release the next
screenshot
this is still happening since then
what was interesting is that yesterday, they announced the official date for the next
trailer
which is today... it was scheduled to be released at 6AM Pacific Time.
so, I’m pretty sure it's live already. Also, if you haven’t seen the screenshots I
will leave the link in the description so you can check them out
and last but not the least, and perhaps the most interesting story in this episode is that
Forbes reported that an analyst now estimates a sell-through of 1.4 Million
of Xbox 360 and
and PS3 units in the December quarter.
He estimated 2.3 millions before and to me that kind of makes sense.
If we look at some of the other games released during that time frame you will
see a lot of huge titles.
In October for example we have Resident Evil 6 and Assassins Creed 3
and then in about two weeks after the release of Medal of Honor Warfighter
we will have
Call of Duty Black Ops II.
besides that if you add the disappointment that some people felt with the
previous Medal of Honor
those estimated numbers sound
plausible.
I will still however get the game on release date because I liked the previous one and I
I like the idea of the ‘blue on blue’ playlist for the mutiplayer.
What do you guys think?
I know this year has been kind of dry, gaming-wise
but I’m pretty sure everyone will get a new game in October. Would that be Medal of Honor
Warfighter? You tell me.
My name is Mario and this was the first episode of Road to Medal of Honor:
Warfighter.
I will talk you next time.
Until then
take care
and be safe.
