Take pictures and video to capture everyday life.
Watch this video to learn how to use the Camera and Camcorder on your Samsung Galaxy Note.
To begin, touch applications from any home screen. Then, select the camera application.
Your Camera automatically balances for surrounding light conditions,
however you might want to manually adjust the settings to your choosing.
To do so, touch the gear icon.
Here, you have the option to change the shooting mode, scene mode, exposure and resolution of your image, and much more.
You also have the option to edit the shortcuts on the side bar of your camera.
To do so, touch edit shortcuts. Then touch and hold the shortcut or shortcuts you would like quick access too.
Drag the icon or icons to any square of your choosing and let go.
Once you have finished customizing your shortcuts, touch the gear icon once more.
If at any time you would like to reset the default settings to your camera,
scroll down to the bottom of the page and touch reset.
Then touch yes to confirm.
Now that you are ready to take a picture set your focus by touching the part of the screen that you would like to focus on.
Then touch the camera icon to take the photo.
To switch your camera into recording mode, drag the button toward the camcorder icon.
Now that you are in camcorder mode, your settings have changed slightly.
Touch the gear at the top of the page.
As you can see, you now have the option to change your recording mode and video resolution.
Touch recording mode. Here, you can limit the size of your recording to that of a text message.
This way, you will be able to easily share your recordings with your friends and family.
When you are ready to record, touch the red record button.
When finished touch the button again.
For quick access to your last recording, touch the thumbnail icon at the top of the screen.
