This is an incredibly simple concept, but uh let's say, I really like this model ***
from Dark Age Games.
Basically I've mounted him on a 25mm circular base and...
Presto. Now he's a Dark Age miniature, I mean he already is,
but I can use him in both Dark Age games and any other
futuristic
or even modern [game]. I mean look at his weapons. He could be some kind of modern
gang member. So I can use him
in
different settings just by magnetizing the base.
Again this is a Dark Age
Games figure
Glue a magnet there, glue a magnet there.
On the base there's some green stuff to make the magnet not pull off.
Here, this one's just super glued
for whatever reason.
(I have two more magnets here.)
I don't need these.
'K, just snaps right on.
Very simple, very easy.
You can go other ways and other
places with this sort of thing.
Of course, this isn't magnetized, but I could.
So here's a very old
Games Workshop or Citadel figure.
And I can use him now in Dark Age and
have someone to capture,
interrogate,
torture, maybe he's escaped,
and the Brood
and the Forsaken are chasing him down.
I think you get the idea.
So, don't feel constrained
by what the miniature companies supply. Start with a small base, you can go to a larger
base,
that's totally doable.
