Suddenly, everything was different.
Life, as you knew it, was gone.
The most important thing, that the human species needs to survive, turned against us.
The air was polluted through your greed and your unquenchable production eagerness.
We couldn't breathe anymore.
Billions died.
Only in the woods, the air is still pure enough to breathe without aid.
But still the circumstances aren't good enough, to guarantee a lasting existence.
I forgot who I am.
I don't know how I survived.
All I have left,...
...are my dreams.
I have a shelter, in an old factory, in the woods near the city.
Every night, my dreams let me relive the catastrophe.
I see chaos and panic.
People run, screaming, filled with fear and without hope.
They collapse on the streets.
Those who are lucky, can wish their loved ones farewell.
I write down my dreams in a diary.
I read them over and over again.
Hoping, to find out who I am.
To survive, I have no chance but to go back to the city, to seek for food.
Although I survived so long.
I ask myself more often, what's the meaning of my survival.
Like an animal, I'm always searching for food.
And only live day by day.
I only have myself to talk.
I'm afraid, I'd lose my mind.
The nightmares are getting worse.
I can't take it anymore.
Everything is better than living like this.
I'd rather seek my luck, in death.
Was it a sign?
Am I not the only one?
One week passes
Wait! I mean you no harm.
Wait...
You'll find nothing here. But I have a shelter not far from here.
Thanks...
What's your name?
My name? I forgot it.
