Today on our 2009 Mazda 3 we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic large rooftop cargo
box measuring 13 cubic feet in glossy black, part number TH634B. With the sport rack roof
rack on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our Sonic directly onto our
load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary
to fit around each bar. We went ahead and removed the rear antenna just in case our
box makes contact. As you can see we have room to reinstall it, so we'll go ahead
and do that now. We'll open the passenger's side of the box and tighten the two feet on
this side by tightening the hand knobs. One of the great features is that you'll hear
a clicking noise when your feet are fully secured around the bar. Another great feature
is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's
side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs until
we hear that clicking noise. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Sonic large
rooftop cargo box, part number TH643B on our 2009 Mazda 3. .
