>>>Chris O'Donnell: I feel very honored to add my name to the long list of people that
have performed the Lincoln Portrait. Copeland wrote it in early forties
it's been performed by a really amazing list of people;
politicians and actors and
dignitaries and so its exciting to kind of add my name to that list
and especially to do it at Boston Symphony Hall with Boston College symphony.
"We of this congress
And this administration,
Will be remember in spite of ourselves,
No personal significance,
Or insignificance
can spare one or another of us.
the firey trial,
through which we pass,
will light us down,
in honor
or dishonor
to the latest generation
we, even we here
hold the power
and bear the responsibility."
O'Donnell: "Boston College, for me,
Well it's probably where
I formed most of
my closest relationships in life,
And I think that's what is such a big part of it, it's the community itself,
its the people,
and I think it is great to give back and be apart of that
it is almost a chance to relive the college years
until my own kids are old enough to go to college.
