- Hey David! -Hi!
Me and my friends are obviously your biggest fans.
You might not believe this now, 'cause we are all 16 years old,
but it's true.
So I also have a question for you, 'cause I read that you wanna buy a piece of land
in the north of Germany, in a town called "HASSELHOF"
'cause you think you might find some of your relatives there.
Is that story true? 'Cause to me it sounds a bit weird.
Well, I would be so happy if you answered my question, and I love you so much David,
believe me, and - yeah. This was my question. Bye!
My answer is: I found a town called "HASSELHOF"-Germany.
And I was going to go there and buy a piece of land. So I could move there.
'Cause I really wanted my address to be "David Hasselhof(f) Germany"
It's a very small address, and very easy.
However, I now found out that there are no Hasselhoffs in HASSELHOF.
That they live in VÖLKERSEN. VÖLKERSEN is near BREMEN.
And that is where my great-great-great-grandfather actually came from.
And I have a photograph, and I went there...
Hasselhoff HASSEL - HOFF
Hasselhoff comes from hazelnut where they had a hazelnut farm,
and the hazelnut tree goes back to the fifteen hundreds
and I have a ticket of my great-great-grandfather Carl Hasselhoff,
coming from BREMEN all the way to Baltimore- Maryland, where he had a son named Joseph Hasselhoff
who had a son named Joseph Hasselhoff who is my father.
And so we have found out that my roots actually come from VÖLKERSEN.
I don't even know if I can say it.
But my relatives are there and I'm planning on going back to VÖLKERSEN
and spending some time with my relatives 'cause there are Hasselhoffs there.
And thank you for being in my corner. I love having young fans, especially as cute as you,
Whoo!
