We've decided we want to move to Australia
for the opportunities for the children and the outdoor lifestyle
that Australia can offer us as a family.
It's just everything about it, we just think
it can offer us so much more. It's a really big leap for us
and the decision hasn't come lightly. It's a huge move
and we are at a point now where we're really happy with the
decision and we are so sure that this is where our life is meant to be.
Just feels now like the time is right, the children are at a good age, they are going to
respond to it, we think, probably the best that they will do. It just feels right.
We would hope to settle in Perth. We have travelled
around most of Australia and Perth is just really
homely and because my dad is there as well and
we just fell in love with it. I first went when I was thirteen and I just adored it and
and always knew that I would come back again and again and now, we've decided
we want to stay there permanently.
I'm here really to investigate the possibility of moving to
Western Australia with my family, obviously as an electrician.
A skills visa is what we are hoping to acheive
and sponsored ideally through the state or through an employer.
With Dawn's father living in Australia already we have obviously
the family sponsorship open to us as well.
I'm definitely hoping a job opportunity presents itself on the back
of today's visit. Speaking to a few of the guys on a few of the stalls there seems to be,
they seem keen to take details and try to marry employers
and employees together so, it's positive and hopeful
that something may come out of today's event.
