Hi, in this video I want to take a look at Custom Kingdoms Buildings,
which I happen to own seven of.
Like many people I first saw these on
BlueTablePainting's Youtube channel.
when Sean highlighted them in
maybe three different battle reports.
Uh, pretty much the same battle I believe.
So I looked at them online.
They had
pictures of their product
and I placed my initial order
maybe for three buildings.
Here are cottages.
This is one style.
[I] believe this might be one of the cheapest ones.
You can see what they're like on the inside.
Here's the- I assume it's resin.
they were cast from.
I'm sure that they can do other
uh... shingle colors.
They happen to have red, blue, and green
as
the colors. You pick which one you want.
You can buy them through eBay, I believe, and you can also just go through
their website
which I'll provide the URL for.
So
these are-, the cottages are nice, they're around the twenty dollar range.
They make a great gift.
This building
is
much taller.
And it's actually these other buildings that I really like from
Custom Kingdoms. This one, when it arrived, it was in the first batch
I ordered,
it did have
this paint scraped off.
And it came packed in bubble wrap so somehow in transit the paint had
scraped off and what I'm gonna do is repaint it, but
I did place a second order with them after this,
because, you know, everything else had turned out fine and I also knew that I
could easily fix this myself.
So! That's, this one's a
really nice one. I like the little,
the stucco coming off here.
You can see the bricks.
Great! And of course, inside it's painted and the roofs don't come off.
This is probably
my favorite
design of theirs.
I like the overhanging
maybe residence over,
over the store.
Great product.
This one, of course,
and there's one like it that I don't have, would seem to have the most
wargaming use to it, because you can stack
troops up here.
How many Warmachine guys can fit up here? (There's a caster.)
Or I should say Hordes,
since a lot of these are Hordes figures.
I think if I really tried I could maybe fit
five
Warmachine or Hordes bases up here.
It looks like it would, it could could hold at least uh... three by three,
so nine
20mm
based guys
for
Warhammer.
So it is nice and I think in the video that Sean might have shown on Blue Table,
that he might have had a
some kind of
caster
up here, a sorcerer, or they might have had like a Bolt Thrower or something.
So that could easily fit
in that spot. 0:04:30.569,0:04:32.439A And last but not least
another one of my favorites.
I like the half. Basically this looks like about half the width
of these
and like I said, these come pre-painted.
They're a pretty good value.
I haven't really beaten them around
a lot to see how easily
other paint chips off or anything like that.
But they do come pre-painted
and they look
pretty awesome, I have to say. Then, of course, they have other
other models to take a look at. (She's standing on a rock though.)
There's a Wolf
and Scrap Thrall running towards them,
to blow them up.
The damaged roof, which I then painted with uh... hobby paint
black.
And then I painted over it with the Vallejo Color
I think it was something along the lines of Gory Red, Scab Red. There
it's still slightly wet.
And then by the time of these photos, it's dried considerably.
