For part 3, it is required that you download the data files from the CSULA website.
Without it, you will not be able to complete is tutorial.
If you need to download the data files,
refer to the video description for links and watch our Downloading Data Files video for help.
In this video, we will use our template to create a new page that will contain our photo gallery.
To create our page,
Launch Notepad++.
On the ITS Training Program computers
click the Start button,
point to All Programs,
point to Notepad++,
and select Notepad++.
Click the File menu and select Open.
Click on the Desktop icon on the left side of the dialog box.
Double click on the data files folder.
My folder is called Website, but yours may be named something else.
Click on the file named template.
Then, click the Open button.
Next, we’re going to create a copy of template and give it a different name, so we don’t overwrite it.
To do this, click the File menu and select Save As.
The Save As dialog box will appear.
In the File name box, type pictures.html.
Then, click the Save button.
Locate the span tag with the class “header" applied to it
and type the word Pictures in between the opening and closing tags.
We have now created our new picture page.
