Successful Army actions near college in Jobar
have forced the militants to regroup and draw significant portion of their forces there.
And the troops are tasked with strike from another direction the very next day.
They have to go around the overwhelmed adversary,
perform the raid deep into their defences and land the troops
to create conditions for splitting the militant gang into parts.
Crews gather for the briefing and the vehicles await for them patiently.
Airplane roar is heard in the sky all the time, they strike upon amassed militants.
Infantrymen take up the places in fighting vehicles.
- The very best guys.
- For Syria!
- For victory.
- Godspeed.
Moving out to the original positions begins.
Vehicles from various directions join the column on the way.
Frontline. Fighters watch the enemy and reveal their firing points.
- Warn before firing.
Artillery performs a diverting strike at the other flank imitating artillery preparations for the attack in the meanwhile.
Shilka takes up its position.
It has to cover the column at the encampment site.
Shilka uses only a single gun and not all of its firepower.
That's enough to suppress militant firing points today.
Vehicles go to the original position one by one.
Tanks' task for today is to escort and cover the infantry denying militants a chance to incur losses.
Shilka works non-stop to destroy all the discovered and potential
militant firing points while the column prepares to leave.
The raid will be dangerous and recovery vehicle is bringing up the rear.
"Forward!" command sounds at last.
Of course kicking up the dust will unmask the column but it doesn't matter.
Militants won't be able to redeploy the forces to counter the raid.
