Hi, I’m Professor Brendon Swedlow. In spring, I’m teaching POLS 412, otherwise known as
ConLaw III. This is a Constitutional law course. In this course, we study the fourth amendment
and the first amendment. The fourth amendment protects against unreasonable searches and
seizures by the police. The first amendment free speech rights we focus on deal with free
speech in a variety of political settings. Both of these courses are great preparation
for students going to law school. They are structured like law school courses, we take
exams that are similar to those take by students in law school. I encourage you to take this
course.
