Yeah its just another day, I can't help but feel this way,
Oh it's just another morning without you. And all around this world,
The little boys and the little girls, Singing Merry Christmas, Papa, I love you.
And as I look around this room at all the faces starin' blankly
I think of them and I wonder when can I come home?
Can I come home? I am desperate for the love of family.
Can I come home? Can I come home? In your arms is where I need to be.
She's alone again this Christmas, there's an aching in our hearts. Our little girl across
the world apart from us. And as we sit around this tree surrounded
by our family I shed a tear and think of her all by herself.
And as I look around this room at all the faces smiling back at me
I think of them and I wonder when can she come home?
Can she come home? I am desperate for her to be here with me.
Can she come home? Can she come home? In my arms is where she needs to be.
Here we sit in a waiting room, this little girl will be ours soon.
So many tears, 8 lost years, but we love her so.
And as the papers all get signed, out of the corner of my eye, I see a tear well up in
her so tenderly. And so I take her hand in mine, we smile and
share a happy sigh. I hold her close and I let her know,
You can come home You can come home
Forever free you'll always be my baby You can come home. You can come home.
In your arms is where you'll always be. In your arms is where you'll always be.
In your arms is where you'll always be.
