Hey everybody, this is Bob from MusicStoreLive dot com. Today, we're taking a look at a G&L
ASAT Classic Blues Boy, this is the Semi-Hollow model. Right now, we are running things through
this Reissue Fender Princeton Reverb, we're gonna switch things up and get into a little
bit more grit later on.
An incredible guitar, if you're looking for a gigging axe or something to have kicking
around in your studio, perfect for blues, perfect for country, rock and roll, great
for jazz too. You can definitely play straight jazz on it, you got a nice warm sound off
the neck pick up, got a semi hollow Swamp Ash body, a maple neck with a medium C profile
so its a little bit fatter than maybe you'd find on some other guitar makers. We got the
G&L Alnico humbucker here on the neck and over in the bridge position the G&L magnetic
field design pick up.
Cool thing about that bridge pick up, you got the adjustable pole pieces so when you
get the guitar really simply, you can balance the pole pieces for that pick up to however
you like it to be voiced. Now, we're gonna move over and get into the dirtier tones,
we can go over this Paul Reed Smith amp.
Thanks for taking a look at G&L ASAT Blues Boy, this is the Semi-Hollow model, we'll
see you next time.
