Before opening my own boutique, I worked for other fashion houses,
such as Emmanuel Ungaro, Formes - fashion for future mums,
but also for fashion houses in Lyon
I was lucky enough to meet Sylvie Tellier, Miss France 2002,
she wore several of my dresses on television, and this helped launch my career.
When she was crowned Miss France
she mentioned my name several times, and because I had just opened my boutique,
it gave me an enormous boost.
My profession is tailor-made clothing.
My creations are mainly devoted to brides-to-be,
or to outfits for special events.
The bride, her mum, a wedding anniversary,
a party... my clients need to take the time with me
to allow an idea to blossom, so we can achieve unique creations.
My female clients are very different, which is what I love.
Many are rather wealthy and like to indulge themselves when buying one of my dresses.
Others have less money and often save up for a long time
to treat themselves to one of my creations for their wedding day.
I have many foreign clients,
I recently made a dress for a bride in Brazil, another in London,
several in New York, in Italy,
in Lyon, of course, as well as Paris and Geneva.
Having Lyon-Saint Exupery close by is fantastic,
as many of my clients come by plane.
Today, I would like to continue my dress-making activity,
but also offer accessories,
the possibility of selling just a corset, for example,
to a client who does not necessarily want the whole dress,
so she can wear her corset with a pair of jeans.
I could sell shawls, items I would create,
so that all clients could treat themselves to one of my items,
without necessarily having to buy a very expensive dress.
