And who see the world in a slightly different way
and are able to convey that to an audience.
The projects are happening all over the country and all over the world,
but we're all based in a little room,
frantically working away together.
>> LOUISE BLACKWELL: We have a team of people that work with us on a daily basis
to try and help realise
these brilliant ideas that are constantly bubbling away.
>> SHONAGH: They might provide everything
from the producing sense
that company needs in order to survive.
Whether that's general management,
creative producing advice,
representing them in the wider world,
all of the administration that it takes to pay the bills.
[PAUSE]
>> SUZY WILLSON: Both Louise and Kate have a real understanding of how
audiences look at work,
so in a way they're acting as a bridge
between us
and the audience.
>> KATE MCGRATH: Sometimes we work with people and
I just don't understand how they see the world
in the way that they do.
But that's what's so exciting about it
and somehow it makes us understand the world
better or differently.
>> INUA ELLAMS: They help me do what I do,
that's all,
on a bigger scale, on a more
groundbreaking, global scale.
>> SUZY: They are not the artists,
but they are totally integral to the artistic process.
[PAUSE]
>> INUA: It's very
organic.
It's very intimate at times.
It is very natural.
>> DAVID HARRIDINE: Kate and Louise, as people, are producers who
absolutely understand the importance of risk.
[PAUSE]
They're not producers who ever want to play it safe.
>> SUZY: Fuel gives venues the confidence
to put on work that perhaps they wouldn't be able to otherwise.
>> EMMA GLADSTONE: They help us as progammers and promoters
[PAUSE]
look at different ways of doing things.
So, I suppose all around that circle,
from the artists, to the venues, to the audiences and back
I think they're crucial.
