My name is Crescens George and i'm the assistant director for HR and training at Be Wiser.
The real difference of training at Be Wiser is we dedicate development opportunities for
every member of staff. We have a dedicated 15 member training team, and everyone gets
2 hours dedicated study time per week. They can use that time to pursue qualifications,
personal development, and other development opportunities within Be Wiser, & within the
insurance industry.
My names Hannah Johnson, i'm the manager for our sure start development programme,
which is a development programme for young people, college leavers and graduates.
Team members are paid whilst their on the program, on top of that, all their qualifications,
books, their exams, tuition is all paid for.
The best thing about working for Be Wiser Insurance is there is a lot of room for progression,
so by constantly giving training, were always learning new things and building our knowledge
and experience.
It just gives us that greater level of confidence, so were able to help the customers in many
different situations.
Confidence with the customer, that they know what i'm talking about, and confidence that
I know that i'm telling them the right thing.
So in a nut shell, sure start is a 3 year programme, where a person can come in, get
qualified, get experienced, and come out a really employable insurance professional at
the end.
If I was the rate the training programme out of 10, I would definitely give Be Wiser a 10.
