Alright class today for leadership we are going to talk about something called the contagious
smile. Now when you smile at someone, It's usually a happy feeling, and they tend to
smile back at you. Right? If I smile at Kylia, She smiles right back at me. And you want
to use this technique a lot when you are speaking in front of people. And when you want to send
positive message out to them. So for example, if I were to say to DJ, if I am teaching a
class, and I say to him " DJ you have to... Umm...Let's say he is doing butterfly stretch,
do butterfly stretch DJ. And say DJ, you have to put your nose to your toes." There's a
difference if I say "Dj you have to put your nose to your toes" or "Hey, DJ you got to
try and out your nose to your toes man". So you see it's If you .... When you are talking
to students or talking to people, if your face is not smiling or you are kind of in
grumpy or not a happy expression. They are going to are going to feel the same way towards
you about it. OK? You want try whenever you are talking to people, you want to try and
make them feel positive, in this setting. So, were going to practice saying something
to someone, and then smiling afterward so that the smile is contagious, then they will
start to feel the same way. We are going to do jumping jacks, so ready, we are going to
hands and feet together and we are going to spread our feet apart we are going to put
our hands up. OK? We are going to put our feet together, and we are going to put our
hands down. Ready class? We are going to this 10 times. Ready? Begin. 1, 2 ,3 , 4, 5, 6,
7... OK class, we are going to do something called squats. S ay "squats". OK? So what
you are going to do, is going to make your Ummm....feet shoulder width apart, you are
going to bend all the way down, act like you are scooping up water and stand back up. Now
DJ when you go when you go down I don't want you to go halfway, OK? Got it? OK. Ok ready,
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This tretch is called Genie stretch, Everyone wants to spread your feet
as wide as you can and Jonah look up. You want to have your elbow your hand on your
elbows and you want to stretch all the way down like this. OK everyone, get into position.
and then we are going to hold this for 5 seconds. Ready begin. 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Alright class
