Hello, I am Misaki and today, for you, I am a comparison shopper of websites.
Well, just Kpop selling websites because we don't really care about the rest.
As a lot of you said 'yes' to last week's survey, here's a video to tell you where to buy Kpop CDs, goods, posters...
There are a lot of different websites where you can buy kpop stuffs so I'll only focus on my favourite ones and the French ones.
Let's start with the international website, in English.
First of all, I think everyone's already heard of Yesasia.
Yesasia is a very big site that doesn't only focus on Kpop but also Cpop (Chinese pop), Jpop (Japanses pop) and some western pop too.
You can also find some subtitled movies and dramas.
In English, we talk about "merchandising" or "goods" so I don't know why we call that 'goodies' in French...
Anyway, as far as goods are concerned, on Yesasia you can easily find posters, fans, accessories, toys...
Exemple: earrings similar to the ones of an idol, bentos, things like that.
There's a really a lot of things on this website.
The big advantage of Yesasia is that, for a purchase costing more than 39$ (=31€).
You have free shipping.
Moreover, if you often order on this website you may get discounts after a time.
Then we have Kpop mart, with the catch phrase: "Lowest Kpop on the Planet".
When you look at the prices, that's true but on Kpop mart, shipping cost isn't included and is never free, except if there's a special offer.
It's only at the end of your order that you realize that you have to add 20$ because of the shipping cost.
If you order something light, in general that's not too expensive but if you're ordering a photobook for example, it costs a lot.
so you'd better order on Yesasia if you can.
On Kpop mart you can find dramas and movies too, as well as accessories, and the little 'plus' of Kpop mart are the signed CDs.
Of course, the price of a signed CD isn't the same as a normal CD but for those who want an autograph of their idol, it's nice.
Then, the 3rd website I recommend is Kpop Town.
It's a bit like Kpop mart, except that's sometimes 1/2$ more expensive.
Same thing= shipping cost isn't included.
There are accessories etc too but there isn't a lot of dramas and no movies.
But there are other categories like 'cosmetics' where there's of course make-up things but also bb creams!
Of course Korean bb cream, not the one with have here which isn't as good as the Korean one. But that's only my opinion.
There's a also the 'fashion' category to find the same clothes that were worn by celebrities.
For those who are looking for a GB cap or Hello Baby pajamas: here you go.
These are really the 3 big websites I recommend because they're well organized and I never had any problem with them
moreover, on these 3 websites, the sales count for the Korean charts so your purchase can help a singer/group to win music shows.
Of course, there's also ebay. But on ebay you have to be careful about the sellers, knowing if they're professional sellers or not etc
You have to sort it out yourself..
Now I'm going to talk about the French websites so if you're a foreigner, go directly to 5:55
(not going to sub it, subbing is long and boring and you don't even care about that if you don't speak French and live in France) go to 5:55
Okay, so that's it for the official goods... though some arent really 'official', but anyway.
If you're looking for goods on a particular band, then you'd better go to website or a forum about this band.
When you see pictures of a band or an idol, the fan site name is often written on it and thanks to that you can find the website.
Some fan site are in English, I'm thinking about a 2PM fan site called Junsuya (about Junsu) that had released a photobook but had prepared a page in English for international fans who wanted to order it too.
Most fan sites are only Korean so if you don't speak Korean, that's not easy to buy the goods.
That's why some forums will make group purchases for fans.
I only know who it works for SHINee: SHINee France sometimes organizes fan site goods orders.
What's a bit annoying is that you have to depend on other people to make an order.
Sorry, this will only concern SHINee fans:
If you'd like to make an order on your own, 'cause you don't want to have to order with a forum etc, there's an English website called SHINee store
that make order of official goods as well as fan site goods.
The girls who run this website are really sweet, I didn't have any problem at all, they answer all questions rather quickly.
and as they said they didn't have any customers in France, here's a small promotion for them.
That's all for today...
I hope this video will be usefull to you, if that's the case, feel free to like, subscribe, join the FB page and the tumblr page where you can vote for next week's topic.
On this note, I'm telling you: see you soon and fighting!
