The NZ Government is recognising
the rebel Libyan regime as the true Government.
Last week, Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown and is still in hiding.
Some in NZ say leave Libya be to sort itself out.

and NZ has sent their representative from Egypt to intervene.

Essentially, that's an issue - the former Libyan dictator Gaddafi
has always supported anti-West sentiments and revolutions
funding many groups from Ireland to Saudi Arabia,
and at one point contemplating funding a Maori revolution.
Last week, rebels overthrew Gaddafi
which would never happened without support from the West, NATO.
Some say outside intervention has just been too hasty.
Gaddaffi is still in hiding and yet to be found.
