Hello there everyone. I'm Mitch Carruthers. Me and my friend Jerry here,
both University of Alabama students, are on our way to Horror Hound Weekend in
Cincinnati, Ohio
A horror film fest filled with lots of fun
question & answers, appearances by movie stars and TV stars. Right now we're now at a gas
station to go to the bathroom, but we will be heading on the road shortly
and we'll keep you updated.
My name's Mitch. I'm a Marketing major and Telecommunication & Film minor.
Over spring break I went to Cincinnati, Ohio for the
10th Annual Horror Hound Film Festival. The atmosphere was great
Everyone was really nice. You're bonding with people and you're all excited about the
same actors and actresses that are there.
Going to Horror Hound I most excited for meeting Norman Reedus
who is the star on AMC's The Walking Dead. That was probably my favorite part of the trip.
I met Sid Haig, who is the star in a movie called Devil's Rejects.
I also met Bill Moseley, who is a star in the same movie.
Tony Todd who is the host of a TV show and also has been in a lot of horror movies.
Hello everyone. We've been driving for about four and a half hours now.
We are now in Kentucky.
What I wanna do is market
for movies and television shows like The Walking Dead
and other movies like those at Horror Hound Film Festival and
do the business side of the movies and
TV shows that I like watching so much. One thing that was really important
in my marketing classes that I've learned was that you need to be really personable and you
need to be able to communicate with your actors and agents.
Hello there. We're here at the
convention center for Horror Hound weekend. We just drove up from Alabama
Roll Tide
And now we are about to enter into the awesome
abyss that is Horror Hound Movie Festival.
I think the community itself at Horror Hound really
bonded and they really understood the feelings you get when you watch a horror movie
and they all connected with that and they could all relate to it
as far as the emotions that they feel and day-to-day life.
