Hi, I'm Trevor and I'm here with Myles from Trijicon.
Trijicon is an innovative leader in the industry in optics, and this year they came out
with some really new cool stuff, one being the SRS system
so Myles, can you run down some of the cool features on the SRS for us? Absolutely,
this is our new Sealed Reflex Sight, the SRS,
it works on
solar power.
So, as long as it can get ambient light,
solar energy to it, that's what illuminates the reticle. That's
exactly right, and then right here in this location we have a AA battery.
So, if there's not enough ambient light out there
it works off the AA battery.
Right now we're estimating that you're going to get about two to three years out of one battery.
Two to three years out of one battery, two to three years, not hours, years!
And it's got a 1.75 MOA dot it's very small (nice and crisp)
and,
very very crisp and
basically it's made out of
775 T-6 forged aluminum.
It is, in essence,
the ACOG of red dot sights, it's going to be extremely durable. Let see some of the features on it
you have your
you know, intensity can turn up the intensity turn it down,
you know, minus and plus signs buttons on both sides,
fully adjustable, elevation and windage,
Trijicon's given it a quick release mount. Easy on/off picatinny, you can
always return to your zero with it, so awesome features on the SRS. I think
this is going to be a huge seller, I think. I'm sure you guys are getting rave reviews on it already, but (Yes)
we've been excited, you know, knowing that it is coming out, were excited to get. So, one of the great
products Trijicon came out with, the new SRS sight. And now to kind of a change up one of
the standards in the industry,
we got a
battery powered ACOG right now.
Shift over a little bit.
So, going into, you know, the tried and true, you know, can take the most rugged
sight out there AGOC and you guys throw a battery in it. What, why did you decide to
do that? You know, so, we wanted to give the user the ability to adjust their
light intensity and hold it at that.
With some of our other sights we have the fiber optics and the tritium,
it kinda depends on what the ambient conditions are with the illumination.
This one allows you to set it exactly to the needs, again runs on a AA
battery, you can find those anywhere. We're getting over twelve thousand hours on it, which
works to about
two-and-a-half years at the most powerful setting. So we've really come a long
way with this sight and we hope that it addresses the needs, you know, the
needs of the user.
Everybody loves the ACOG and throwing a battery in there you can tell it's one more step up,
see the rail stat on this side, looks like we got seven different settings? I believe that there's
actually about ten on there. Ten settings?
So, you know, standard in the industry, the ACOG. Everybody compares every sight to the ACOG
and, you know, just kind of taking a step up throwing a battery in there. Something cool for the
market, you know, having the ability to turn on the illumination anywhere and not worry about
tritium or fiber optics, that's just a great feature. Myles, thank you so much for working with us and
showing us some new stuff, thank you. Hey, thank you very much.
