Hey Cookaholics, Chef Kendra here and today were a chicken dish called Chicken with lime
and dill butter sauce. Perfect for any weeknight. I'm using chicken thighs but of course you
can use chicken breast. So let's do what we do and head into the kitchen and make it happen.
Beautiful ingredients I love it where you're waiting for me. OK the first thing we're going
to do is
Season our chicken thighs with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides.
Next we're going to get a non-stick pan under medium heat and add some vegetable oil to
our pan. Let it heat up for a about a minute. If you're using chicken breast pound them,
butterfly them or slice them in half. This is better with thinner pieces of chicken in
my humble opinion. But hey, it's you're kitchen do what you want.
Alright we're gonna add half our chicken to this pan and we're going to cook both sides,
we're going to remove from the pan then cook the other pieces the same way. Yo, these are
pretty thin and they only take a couple of minutes or so per side. No big deal.
We've removed the excess oil, tossed in our butter and we're going to stir it around a
bit. We also reduced the heat to medium low, guys. In goes the fresh lime juice, and we're
stirring that in. The next thing in is our dried dill and minced onion. We're going to
get that into our pan and finish this with some more stirring. Once the dill and onion
are mixed in well, just spoon over chicken. That's all it is to it.
