Every Saturday you can tell who is crazy about cars in Southern California by coming to a unique event called Cars and Coffee. Some amazing cars show up but it´s mainly about the people. Let´s go and check it out. The cool thing about Cars and Coffee is you have new cars and history in the vintage cars, all coming together. Basically you can sum up the whole event with one simple sentence: Car blah blah blah car blah blah blah car… So as the name implies, it´s one part car, one part coffee. So we need to fill in that coffee caffeine here. Now of course you can’t get enough coffee this early in the morning, but while you are standing in line the parking spots just fill up with amazing machines. This is wonderful, I love that car show. It´s beautiful and the coffee is fresh and hot. Wow! Once you started to watch the show and start checking out some of the cars you inevitably start talking to the owners and you may think you can be there for an hour but you know when you talk about cars with car people it can last all day long. When you take a look at this gullwing you just can’t get enough of it, the history, it’s really just an amazing machine. You can’t help but show off whatever car it is that you brought to the show, which for me was of course the SLK and the feature that stood out the most for the people it seems was the vario roof. I can tell you that is one great way to spent your morning. You know it´s easy to get busy with work and grow up and everything and forget really what we were interested in when we were kids. You know, it was something as simple as the sound of a V8 and when I was the six-year-old I would roll the window down and just like everybody here just listen to a very cool car sound go by. And it´s the emotion and the passion you get as a kid you know when you see a cool car that lasts your whole life. And that´s what every single person here has. It´s a common denominator between all of us. So it´s a very cool event to see everybody come, show their passion in their cars, and just enjoy cool cars. But one problem is – they ran out of coffee at Cars and Coffee. So, that we have to find elsewhere. The SLK actually made its impression at cars and coffee this year. It actually fit right in. Very nice!
