Hi my name is Avni with Vastu Chai and today we're going to make a
traditional cup of chai
so we will add one cup of water
to a regular pot on the stove and here we have
1 teaspoon of the Vastu Chai traditional masala
and we're just gonna give it a little grind because it'll allow the
oils from the tea and the spices to come out
and we'll add it to the pot and just for a little
extra pizzazz we'll add some freshly grated ginger
and then I like to add
a little bit of a sweetener because I feel that the
sweetener brings out the flavor of the spices and today we're using some honey
and then we allow the mixture to come to a boil, so as it comes to a boil
it releases all the flavours of the teas and the spices
and then we add half a cup
of whole milk and then once again
we bring the whole mixture to a boil
ah so now the milk has come to a boil
strain it into our mug
now we're ready to enjoy
