Hi, I'm Patricia Longo and I'm a celebrity make-up artist. I've worked with models from
Sports Illustrated like Brooklyn Decker and Julie Henderson to Alec Baldwin at 30 Rock.
All those things that experts do that the average person doesn't know how to do, we'll
learn how to do it on these videos. So, after I apply the foundation with a foundation brush
and I did it with low streaks all around the face. I want to create a flawless finish and
the best way to have a flawless finish after I put the foundation on with a brush is smoothing
it out with a sponge. With a sponge, I do everything downward. What it does is, it evens
it all out. So, if I made any mistakes with my foundation brush, my sponge will take care
of the problem and it'll give me a smooth, even skin tone. I would always recommend trying
to use a new sponge and getting into the little crevices. Maybe under the eyes, around the
mouth, underneath the chin. And what it's doing is it's evening out the foundation so,
you do look flawless and smooth. And I always tell people if you want to go past the jawline,
put a little foundation on the neck, you can but you should be able to choose the right
foundation that won't look like a line. And I'm smoothing out her skin with a brush and
then, the powder brush and then, the sponge. And that's how you get flawless skin.
