This is Hans-Peter (Friedrich, German home secretary), the data hamster, ["Hamster" in german is used for hoarders.]
but you already know that.
Hans-Peter is sad.
The constitutional court has prohibited him
from collecting all the data, that he likes so much.
But this isn't that bad.
Behind the pond there is a much larger data retention centre
with the NSA.
They've got a program that collects data everywhere around the world.
And if Hans-Peter really thumps the table, he may have a look at it.
Back home he only has to tell everyone that everything is OK.
And security is not part of the constitution, but a "super" fundamental right,
much more important than human dignity or privacy.
Hans-Peter wants to sacrificy freedom for security. We don't like that! [Against security theatre, freedom not fear! Vote Pirates!]
