Deloitte is planning on extending its Web presence by establishing a .deloitte domain.
The firm believes that the top-level domain "aligns with the Deloitte brand's positioning
and marketplace presence as leader, innovator, and impact maker," according to Heather Hancock,
Managing Director of Global Brand and Communications at Deloitte. Deloitte also hopes that the
top-level domain will "offer improved site accessibility and usability to Deloitte member
firm clients, recruits, and others for an enhanced online experience."
However, the new domain will not also be a matter of improver end-user experience and
marketing the Big4 firm.
