Now we're going to take a look at our third and fourth measure in our piece. And you notice
we've gone back to our original melody. So we have still this E7 chord going on. Basic
blues you'll always the first four measures are your one chord. And we go actually to
the same melody we started with, the sharp four to five, and sharp five to six. So this
is a melodic idea. So what we've done is we've had what is called a call and response melody
where we have an original idea, a counter idea, which accents it, and then we go back
to our original idea. So it's a very nice simple compositional idea which is used all
over the place in all styles of music. And we love using it in the blues. So now I'm
going to go through and play you those first four measures.
So a nice simple melody to our first four measures of our blues, Accordion Lover Blues.
