We’re going to talk a little bit today about things to consider when purchasing a fax machine.
Now fax machines come in price ranges from under $100 up to several thousands of dollars,
if you’re going to purchase a fax machine you need to know what your needs are, what
features you need in a fax machine, how many faxes you’ll be receiving and sending in
the course of your normal business, once you have that information you need to look at
cost both the cost of purchasing the machine and the cost of operating it over the long
term. For example inkjet machines are fairly inexpensive to purchase also the can print
your faxes in color however, they’re very expensive for every fax they printout, so
remember that if you’re receiving thousands of faxes your cost are going to be very high
on ink cartridges, if you purchase a laser fax like the one I have here with me today
your costs are very low down around 5 cents a copy as opposed to 10 to 15 cents on the
ink machines, so if you’re getting very many faxes and really make sense to spend
a little extra money and buy a laser machine. That’s basically the things to look at,
also it’s great to consult a professional so call your local office supply store and
ask for their opinion they’re professionals and they’ll be able to help you.
