If you're choosing a rug for your home or anything like that where your child is going
to spending a lot of time sitting or playing on it, wool is probably not the best option.
Try to find a fabric that is soft, that is possibly ecco friendly that your child will
not have a problem sitting on and she will not have a reaction just because she's playing
on the carpet. With eczema, it's important to use products that are going to be very,
very comfortable for the skin that will not cause a reaction. This means that a lot of
the products that someone that has eczema will be fragrant free, they'll be very emollient,
and they'll be very gentle to the skin. I've discovered that, with my daughter, she's unable
to use anything with fragrance in the bathtub. So, instead of using the typical baby shampoo
or anything like that, we've discovered that using an emollient cleanser is a great product
for her skin, all over her body, including her face. It's great for babies for gentle
skin, or even adults. I personally use this to wash my face because I have sensitive skin
as well.
