Expand your drip system: Point Source Today we’re going to show you how to expand
your drip system using supply tubing and additional watering devices. Lets get started. The easiest
way to expand your drip supply tubing if you do not know the size is to use the Raindrip
Smart-Loc Universal Coupler. The Smart-Loc Universal coupler will fit most popular sizes
of supply tubing regardless of the manufacturer. To connect this fitting, you first need to
rotate the nut to the bottom of the coupler, twisting it clockwise until tight. Now push
the supply tubing onto the coupler. Make sure the end of the supply tubing is past the barb
and is secure inside the fitting. Finally, twist the nut counter-clockwise over the supply
tubing to lock it in place. Once the fitting is installed, connect your expansion supply
tubing to the other end of the coupler using the same method. If you do know the size of
your supply tubing, simply use the correct size compression coupler, ½”, 5/8” or
.710”. At this point, you can install your Clamp N Pierce dripper, bubbler or sprinkler
assemblies as needed to water your expansion area. For more than 30 years, Raindrip, Inc.
