My ultimate career goal is to work in the Public Relations industry.
What I want to do is organising events, establish campaigns,
or liaising with different sponsors.
And Global Media Communications can offer me a really
good opportunity to achieve my ultimate career goal.
What I learned from the course is,
I got to know how media industry works in a globalised scale,
and that's the current trend, that's the future trend as well.
So for me the course delivers like,
it's not just about tell us how western media works,
also about how media industry in Asia works
and what's the differences.
You meet classmates, they come from different backgrounds
that's why it makes really interesting when we discuss some topics.
You can get to know the people from other countries
what they think and you can have a more critical perspective
of one thing and you learn lots from them as well.
We have really good debate and discussions about the course.
So I did internship for the Arts Centre Melbourne,
which is intensive for one month.
So we were working on a topic which is broadcasting live.
They want to do broadcasting live permanent from Australia to China
and they want us to figure out the market in China
and how we target market.
And in the end we did a couple like presentation,
either in the Uni and for the managers in
The Arts Centre Melbourne, the Marketing Manager.
And I learnt lots.
And is very practical in terms of, like the future career.
By learning this course you have idea about
what you want to do in the future and also they give you,
you learn lots of things from other students,
in the lectures and other classmates.
Also you can sort of establish your own perspectives about,
not just within the course,
of other certain things as well.
So that's what I gained most out of this course.
