Good morning!
I though about this: when you see me, you're wondering:
Is she going jogging?
But the answer's no. I'm just going travelling.
Because I dress like an idiot when travelling, why do you ask?
I'm going to the Philippines for the Music Aid. Let's go.
I'm at the airport! And something went wrong because I ended up on the outside
So I'm going to the Philippines to report for the Music Aid
about typhoons, about survivors, about people who's lost everything.
So I thought I'd do a Follow Me Around
so you can join me on my trip.
First stop: Arlanda airport in Stockholm,
Look at this sunset! Errhhhhh well somewhere here
Next stop: Copenhagen. So now I'm flying to Copenhagen
where I'm meeting up with the producer and photographer,
and from there we're flying to Bangkok and after that to Manila
which is the capital of the Philippines.
And that's our destination. Long flight.
It'll take us 19 hours.
I'm so excited.
Hi.
- Hi!
We're on the flight to Bangkok!
This is Andreas, he's the photographer, helloooo.
This is Maria, she's the producer, hellooo.
So I'll see you guys in Bangkok!
Or in the Philippines, idk, let's see, bye
Nice, Andreas.
If you ever wondered what Bangkok's airport looks like, the answer is:
Like this.
Now we're boarding the plane to Manila, we're soon there!!!
[O Holy Night]
LORDDDD
We're here. YAAAAAAAAS
We've travelled for pretty much exactly 24 hours.
Im tired, jetlagged, hungry and...
... dead.
So my plan is to take a shower, a powernap and then just...
.. embrace it, baby.
But, but the toilet..?
What the fudge.
Who put it there.
I guess I'll see you tomorrow. GOOD NIGHT.
We're at a place called Buklod Tao!
They're so enviromentally concious, and they're growing stuff
in these old juice packets which they've sewn together. This is crazy.
This is so smart! Everything is friendly towards the enviroment, their awareness is huge. It's so nice.
Good morning!
Day three. Guess what time it is.
Half past two.
Nighttime.
Nice.
I got up at 2AM, if you're wondering.
Today we're travelling to the island Tacloban,
to meet people who we'll be filming with.
The thing is that the maximum weight for the airplane is 10 kg, so I can't bring my big bag
so my producent went and bought some of these smaller bags
but the first thing that happened after I packed it was
that it broke.
The zipper detached and a metal thing fell off.
So right now I have no bag.
And we're leaving in... one minute.
Nice.
Well I've gotta fix this, and I have to run to the lobby now, so, waaaaaah
Airport.
I took this bag instead.
It's 3:30 AM.
I found a friend.
She is wonderful.
She's been hanging onto me since the second we came here.
I just want to bring her home.
I'm going to cry when we leave.
UR SO CUTE
We just spoke with a man named Jessie, about living here
about living here in these temporary houses for Yolanda survivors.
He said he doesn't know much about climate change,
and I thought that yes, of coure you know, you're the one experiencing the consequenses.
We in Sweden, we don't.
We have no clue. And we're talking about what's going to happen in 50 years if we don't change our lifestyles,
but it's happening now.
So that's why we're represening the Music Aid.
This is a school that was completely destroyed when the typhoon Yolanda came in 2013.
This is caused by heavy wind.
It's insane.
A wind speed of 300 km/h and this is the result.
Makes you feel like... I don't want to be a part of this anymore.
Good morning, everyone.
Here I am, having breakfast.
Ceral.
Fruit.
And toast.
Yesterday we found out that a storm was approaching the Philippines.
So we looked it up and during the night,
this tropical storm has been upgraded into a typhoon.
Which is so unbelievable, because that's what we're here to report about.
All of a sudden, we're in one.
So last night we spoke about what to do,
and decided that today we're going to go out and buy some lifevests,
and rice, noodles, megaphones, and just try to help.
So that's our plan for today. See you later.
Bye.
Okay, guess what we did!
We've bought lifebuoys, lifevests, megaphones, noodles, dried meat,
sanitary pads, soap and disinfectant, and now we're waiting to go up and hand this over.
I'm kinda nervous about this typhoon, and when it's about to hit land.
At least it feels good to be able to help.
- A diet that is heavy on meat contributes more to the green house gas emissions in our atmosphere.
Okay so we just did a live report to Sweden from this balcony
and the storm has reached Manila.
Hey, producer-Maria.
- Bad hair day.
It's out last night and we're finished! Our last report is done!
So now we're going out to sing karaoke.
Are you excited, Maria?
- I'm so hyped!
- I don't want to hijack your vlog..!
- Cheers!
Mmmm, water.
I'm at the Music Aid!
- Wooo, 2015!
OMAIGOOOD
- Can you feel the love? Was it all worth it for this?
Yes! I landed and came here and was so hyped, I was like AAAh
and then you see everyone outside the glass house, and you're like "I LOVE U SO MUCH"
- And it's so quiet in the glass house! You ought to know that!
- THAT'S ENOUGH
Look!
I'm going into the glass house to hand over my... SELFIE MONEY!
This is money people just donated to take a selfie with me.
I don't have hubris at all.
- That's so awkward.
Look how happy they are.
YAY
Hello Yohio.
- Hi
Are you excited?
- Yes.
That is so cute doe.
Hi everyone! This is what you'd see if you jumped into my webcam and...
... were there.
I'm moving tomorrow, that's why it's so empty here.
I just wanted to say that I get so happy watching these pictures,
so I wanted to thank you for being so supportive during this trip,
for donating money to the Music Aid, and it makes a difference!
