Now we're going to do a covered sugar bowl. This is a really nice item to have in your
kitchen. It's got a cut out for the spoon. And then you hold your sugar in there. You
can keep it by your coffee pot or your tea maker. It's a three; it's a several step item.
First we need to make the base. And that's going to be about a pound and a quarter of
clay. So I'm going to cut a piece and weight it. I've got a little bit too much so I'll
cut a little off. And that's a little bit more than a pound and a quarter but that will
work just fine. These don't have to be precise. And then the lid itself needs to be a little
bit more than a half a pound of clay. Perfect. That really doesn't have to be very precise
because we're going to be trimming that lid. And the *** we're not going to worry about
just yet. We will attach that to the lid. We will actually throw it directly onto the
lid after we trim the lid. So we'll get to throwing the base.
