Hi, in this tutorial I'll teach you how to make this bass
Pleas keep in mind the sound I'm going to make uses very sensitive wavetables, meaning the slightest error could give you a
completly different noise
Press New Sound, set the oscillators to Carbon, Chrome, and Drive II, and activate them
Set Osc. 2 and 3 to Bend -/+
Bring both of the sliders by the filters all the way up, and turn the volume all the way up for the second filter.
(At this part, I forgot to do that for the "mix" slider, don't worry I'll fix it later in the video)
Set Insert 1 to Parabolic Shaper and Insert 2 to Sine Shaper, activate them both.
Set The first effect to Tele Tube and set the second to Dimension Expander, then activate the EQ
Lower the low shelf and bump up the high shelf, this makes the sound cleaner, especially when a sub bass is involved.
Set filter one to "Bandpass" and set filter to "Scream"
Told you I'd fix it eventually :P
Go into envelope 3. Bring the level all the way up and bring the attack up until the top is near "Trg Zero Reset"
Bring the pitch for all three Oscillators down two octaves "-24.00" in the display, that means -24 semitones, which is two octaves.
Activate the Modulation Oscillator, bring the pitch down two octaves, and activate "Phase" for Oscillator 3.
Activate "Noise" and "Feedback", boost the amp for feed back slightly and the amp for the noise filter about a quarter of the way.
Go into an LFO tab, bring the XFade Curve all the way up, select sync, and set it to 1/8.
Set Oscillator One's WT-Position a little over half way up.
Set both the Intensity and WT-Position of 2 half way up, you can do that by double clicking both of those knobs.
Set 3's WT-Position to half way as well, then set the intensity a little less then half way up, bring the amp to just before 3/4s up.
Set Envelope 3 as follows, if you want, for some more flavor, you can add the LFO to 3's WT-Position instead of an Envelope.
Set the rest exactly how I do ( sorry I don't know the exact positions I set them to) Oh, but for the mix set it going to just before the middle
And thats the sound :) if you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up, and subscribe for more awesome tutorials :)
ALSO if you have a suggestion for a sound or need help on one, comment on the video or inbox me.
I WILL be taking suggestions for a style of sound you want to hear next, keep that in mind :)
ALSO here is an example of the kind of stuff you can make with this sound :)
