This is the Azubu team house in Chungnam.
We have nine players and three coaches,
so twelve people live here in total.
We train in two four-hour sessions.
A total of eight hours each day.
After that, the players are free to do what they want.
The players decide what to do with their free time,
but many of them choose to train more.
I never got to experience college life,
but there are advantages to being a pro gamer.
I earned good money at a young age,
and make a living doing what I love.
A lot more work goes into it than people think.
Because the level of competition is so high,
we must constantly train harder.
We have a housemaid who helps
take care of the cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
But because she's here, it allows us to stay focused.
They don't really like fish, they like meat.
So, I prepare a lot of meat.
We become better players while eating delicious food,
and that's great because if we had to cook
it would taste awful!
Teammates really help.
When I play alone I can get lost in my head.
If that happens and I get stuck,
discussing it with my team really helps.
It makes solving problems easier and those aspects really help.
For the past year, several of the team members
did well in league matches.
It was fun watching us rise, but the pressure
for us to perform has recently become more intense.
When you start as a rookie you don't have that pressure.
You don't quite know what to expect.
We didn't do as well as we'd expected to this year,
but next year I have high hopes for them to win.
