GROVER: I am Grover, and I am a monster from Sesame Street.
NAKITA: And I'm Nakita, and I'm a
researcher from Sesame Street.
And we're here to tell you about
SesameStreet.org's playlists.
GROVER: Ah, playlists.
Playlists are good.
Playlists are important.
Playlists are sassy.
NAKITA: Uh, Grover.
GROVER: Yeah.
NAKITA: Do you even know what a playlist is?
GROVER: Of course I do.
A playlist is a paper product that enjoys frolicking.
NAKITA: Actually, Grover, Sesame playlists are really
awesome lineups of videos and games.
And SesameStreet.org's home page will feature a brand new
playlist built around a different theme
each and every day.
Here, let's take a look at a playlist on
SesameStreet.org's home page.
GROVER: To click--
Ooh, who's that cute and furry blue internet spokesmodel?
NAKITA: That's you, Grover.
GROVER: It is?
Hahaha.
Of course it is.
My, I look handsome in cyberspace.
But what, pray tell, am I doing on the world wide web?
NAKITA: Well, you're telling everyone to check out today's
playlist, which is all about the number five.
Take a look.
Each playlist is a mix of seven videos and games all
about the same theme.
So there could be a playlist about the number five or one
totally dedicated to triangles, or even one about
sorting, like sorting pigs and penguins.
GROVER: You can sort pigs and penguins?
Now that is what I call innovation.
NAKITA: In addition to our featured playlist of the day,
we have over 1,000 archive playlists that children can
play anytime.
GROVER: 1,000?
Wow.
That is more than 10, right?
NAKITA: Much more.
And adults can even make up their own playlist for
children using the thousands of videos and
games on our site.
GROVER: Might I suggest a Grover playlist with Grover
videos and a side of Grover games?
