Hey Youtube
Dawn here. I'm here to teach you a little bit about by rolling and today's lesson
is momentum rolls versus gravity rolls. Different schools of thought have
different opinions about each.
The reason that there is very much difference in the schools of thought
is because different people believe that Gravity rolls do not give you the same level
of control
As a momentum roll. I believe that you need both
in order to be a skilled body roller. Gravity rolls tend to be
rolls which are very easy and seem to come naturally to a contact juggler. It's
when you lower your arm
and it falls into your hand. This seems to be a pretty simple motion
which most people are able to do with a couple tries
they will help you we need to learn bigger Tricks
like bridge rolls. Naturally
Bridge rolls have to roll downward and you need to be able to control that
with a gravity roll. Momentum rolls are a little bit more difficult
at the beginning. It's where you go under the ball
to be able to bring it to the spot that you want so although it's more difficult
to learn of the top gravity rules
will be more difficult to control in the long run so momentum rolls
you can do our isolation work a little bit more control
Gravity rolls, you have a lot more ease when you are going up
and down dancing with the ball this is just the beginning
