Hello my name is Andrew Campbell, welcome to AC Silver
This fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver fiddle pattern flatware
service for twelve persons is quite exceptional.
Made by the renowned London cutlery silversmith George Adams, always producing fine work throughout
the Victorian period.
Full hallmarks are struck the reverse of each piece, surface of the knives; all are predominantly
very clear.
The surface shows little signs of use, being in excellent condition.
The bowls of the spoons are unworn.
The tines of the forks also very even and unworn.
The benefits of this service also include an impressive soup ladle, pair of sauce ladle
and a large gravy spoon.
At a weight of 126 troy ounces, excluding knives, the service is an excellent gauge
of silver.
The set is supplied in anti-tarnish cutlery rolls, which are very good for storage.
The highlighted features of this exceptional service make it one that could be sold with
my highest recommendations.
If you require any further information or assistance regarding this exceptional cutlery
service, please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email.
