Hi I’m Kostya Andreev and this is How To Nose Press.
First, pick a quarter pipe with a sub box
or one close to a wall.
The table should be anywhere from 20 cm to half a meter.
The point of the trick
is to lean your front wheel into the corner and jump back into the pipe.
Let's start with the basics - leaning into the wall.
Don’t ram into it, just touch the wall slightly.
Straighten your arms and bend your legs if necessary.
Transfer all of your weight to the front wheel, then push back into a fakie.
Now repeat this in a small quarter pipe or wall ramp with a step.
When going down, be sure to bend your arms, to better roll into the pipe.
Remember to direct your push into the quarter,
this will help you get a handle of your direction.
Now let's try pushing into a 180, the classic nose press.
Go in at a slight angle and lean into the wall.
Your front wheel should be almost parallel to the frame.
Don’t hurry back down - the goal is to find your balance.
It's ok to put your leg down.
Then it's time to move on to the next step.
Watch closely.
The element is very similar to a footjam.
Don't worry if you don't get it right away.
Bend your arms more and raise the back wheel of your bike.
Trust me, when you get this trick down,
it will open up a world of interesting combos to do.
But that's another story... See ya!
