In Guatemala and Latin America, soccer is in our blood.
I am 48 years old and still play soccer.
He is a friend of mine, the referee.
Exciting. This is exciting.
I am Bruno Vásquez. I am from Guatemala City.
Sixty percent of the population are indigenous people and they are good, hard-working people.
This is a country rich in volcanoes, rivers, lakes
and I think it is paradise.
Four and a half years ago
I experienced a heart attack.
I had an incredibly stressful lifestyle.
A lot of pressure, a lot of work.
I was always mad. A lot of things irritated me.
Traffic, not having something done on time.
I was highly detailed and a perfectionist.
I was a ticking time bomb. The day I had the heart attack
something changed my life entirely.
That made me see things from a different perspective.
I ask myself
Who am I?
That led me to change my life.
When you know you are a child of God,
when you know that Jesus Christ did something for you,
life changes.
I then started to travel and to train people.
I started to visit companies and help many people change their lives.
I never imagined someone could say to me
"thank you for changing my life".
I tell people that I did not change their lives.
They do it. I only have information.
You have to learn to use this information
and be responsible for your life. I feel like I have another opportunity.
And believe me, I am taking advantage of it.
I believe God exists.
That He loves me. That he is a father that worries about me.
And that is sealed in my heart. It gave me the hope to improve.
To improve my life. My family's life.
My community.
Who am I? I am grand...
Grandpa!
I am Bruno Vásquez.
I am Guatemalan I am a father, a grandfather.
My hair is always in place.
And I am a Mormon.
