I remember the day when me and my mates were told that we were too old for youth group.
No more icebreakers, no more end of term socials,
no more chubby bunnies.
That was over a decade ago
and over those years I've seen most of my old youth group drift away from church.
my situation is not unique
In 1985 over half a million of those in their twenties went to
church in Britain.
By 2005 this figure had more than halved.Wehave a problem
And I am desperate to see it solved
and i'm not alone
The evangelical alliance found that for 96% of church leaders
reaching young adults was
top priority or equal
top priority in their churches
but only 11% feel they have the resources with which to act.
and thats why at Youth for Christ
We have produced Ethos
Ethos exists
to stir
to challenge
to inspire
and to help young adults follow Jesus
We are desperate that Ethos makes a difference
but we need your help
please take a look and let us know what think. Participate, join in
and help it become all it could be
and if you like it
please consider paying for it
We're passionate that Ethos should be free and as available as possible
but because it's free
we need individuals and groups
to help us continually create and innovate
by giving a small amount monthly
We are basically asking you to pay us what you think it is worth.
So be encouraged.
be inspired
and be generous
God is doing something amazing amongst this generation
and is inviting you to be part of it
