Hi! This is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village,
I'm going to show you how to make an apple crisp rice salad. We're back. Utensils you're
going to need today are very simple. There are not a lot of them and everyone should
have these in their kitchen. Alright, you're going to need a big bowl for your salad. You're
going to need a couple of wooden spoons to toss your salad. I always tell everyone to
go out and get a good cutting knife. You're going to need a cutting knife to chop up some
stuff. I've to got this cutting board, silicon cutting board. They're great. They're about
5 or 6 bucks. Pick up your stuff and there you go. They're really durable. They last
a long time. They will pay for themselves in the first couple of uses. You're going
to need a zest of an orange, so you're going to need some kind of grader just to grade
up your orange. Don't forget you might need a can opener for your broth. If you're using
water, you won't need it. Don't forget, sometimes you want to use measuring cups when cooking
rice, especially you want to be really fine, so get your measuring cup. A spatula for mixing
stuff. You're going to need an extra bowl for our dressing and a fork, and that's about
it. That's how easy this stuff is. Don't forget in the back, we're going to need a sauce pan
for our rice. I forgot I did say this takes about 15 minutes. You need to cook your rice
about 15 minutes if it's not instant. If you get instant rice it's like this. I unfortunately,
bought the rice that takes about 15 minutes. When we make our rice, we want it chilled,
so you put it in your refrigerator. Do that the night before and put your rice in the
refrigerator. You come back the next day and then this meal will take less than 20 minutes
