Let's start off by viewing what's currently on our homepage
Now as you can see, right here in the center there's nothing. There's no pictures, no text, nothing.
So the first thing we wanna do is we wanna add a photo.
So let's go ahead and click on the Edit Home Page Section
And this section is actually divided into two portions.
Your editing pictures, and your text.
So lets do the first portion and add a photo.
Let's go ahead and choose a picture,
and we'll choose this nice picture of the beach.
We'll go ahead and upload that,
and within seconds, it's complete.
So, let's go ahead and view the homepage now and see what it looks like.
And there's our picture of the beach.
So let's say you wanna add multiple photos because you want to show off the pictures you took while on vacation.
Just go ahead and click on the choose file, choose Beach number 2. Upload that.
Allright, and we'll do the same thing for Beach number 3.
All three of your photos have ben uploaded. Let's view the homepage to see what it looks like.
There's our first photo.
There's our second.
and there's our third.
So Mark 4 will automatically auto scroll through all of the photos that you uploaded to your home page.
No let's say we wanted to get rid of that picture with the beach chair because it doesn't really go with what were trying to do.
So you can click right here and check your photos. Let's go ahead and check to see where it's at.
There it is.
All you need to do is go by right next to it and click 'Delete'.
Now the photo's gone. Now if we view the home page,
the picture of the chair should be gone.
And it is.
Now lets go and add some text to this. Let's say "Our trip to Hawaii"
and for the Title, we'll say "Great Summer Vacation 2012"
and for the Body of the text, we'll say "We took our entire family and had a blast!"
Then we'll click 'Save'.
A few seconds later, it tells you right up here, "Data Saving Complete"
and we'll go ahead and view the home page now.
and there's our photos, there's our text,
Now right down here you have a feature built into Mark 4 where it auto connects to social networking.
So anybody can come here and click on 'Tweet', or the 'Like' button, or Google Plus and instantly like it to one of these social networking sites.
It'll put a URL of your website directly on these accounts.
And that is how you edit the home page using Mark 4.
