Many Americans fell in love with former President Bill Clinton all over again after his dynamic
speech at this years DNC — but he soon may be back in the doghouse. CBS This Morning
has more...
“Monica Lewinsky reportedly is writing a tell-all book about her *** relationship
with former President Clinton 14 years ago.”
That’s right. The one-time first mistress will reportedly earn $12 million for recalling
her Oval Office escapades — so what details will she dish? A commentator on Imus in the
Morning says …
“...every ***, sticky, creepy, crawly bit of nastiness.”
But according to the Huffington Post, it may not be as salacious as some suspect. Quoting
an unnamed friend of Lewinsky’s they point out...
“Several publishers would love her to tell all, but she has no intention of doing so
... She has put it behind her and moved on with her life.”
According to the New York Post, however, the gritty details won’t be all the book has
to offer. Lewinsky will also be releasing a trove of letters she wrote to the former
President. Speaking of the letters, a friend of Lewinsky’s told the Post...
“In them, she opened her heart about her love for Bill and how much happier she could
make him. Some of what she wrote was so raw that she never sent them.’”
So why is the former White House intern just now putting pen to paper? Forbes says it may
be because she needs a pay day.
“Lewinsky has floundered over the past decade. She’s tried everything from designing handbags
to getting an advanced degree in social psychology from the London School of Economics, but nothing
seems to have stuck.”
But Perez Hilton says the timing may have had more to do with legal red tape — and
a woman’s scorn.
“An immunity deal, which prevented her from getting down to the nitty-gritty truth of
the matter back in the day, expired in 2001. Since Lewinsky felt even more betrayed by
her powerful lover's own autobiography — published in 2004 — she's finally ready to tell her
side of the story.”
