Hi everyone. It's Safrina Kadri from fengshuiandprosper.com. Thank you so much for joining me again on
this recording here.
Today I'm going to be talking about the 2014 astrological outlook for all the astrological
animal signs in the chinese calendar. With the Lunar New Year just around the corner
and in fact we're just about 3-4 days away from Chinese New Year, it definitely is perfect
timing for me to share with you what I believe is the potential energy coming up for everyone.
And this is always a little bit of a fun thing to do for us to look at the chart for ourselves,
our friends and family and all that. BUT, entertainment value aside, there's definitely
a lot of advantage for us if you know what are the potential energies coming your way.
Now, in terms of the information that I'm going to be sharing with you here, and also
a lot of the astrological forecasts that are already out there, mind you this is only based
on the astrological animal of the YEAR that you were born in. In the Four Pillars of Destiny
which is the Chinese astrological system, or in Mandarin is called BaZi, in Cantonese
it's called Paht Chee.
In the Chinese astrological chart, we look at not just the animal year but also the animal
month, animal day and the animal hour that you were born in. And of course included into
that chart is also the 5 elements - the water, earth, metal, fire and wood. So in terms of
the relationship between all these elements and the animal signs that are in your chart,
it gives you a much greater detail in terms of what can happen in 2014.
So of course with us just looking at the animal year now, then suffice it to say you're only
really looking at one quarter of the full picture. Nevertheless, what I'm going to be
sharing with you here are general outlook that should be the main theme running for
everyone born in the same animal year. However, obviously there are other nuances as well.
If your feng shui at home, at work or in your business place either supports a good year
or doesn't support a good year, that also has a little bit of an effect in terms of
what ultimately manifests in your reality for 2014.
But let's get into the astrological forecast now, shall we?
Obviously we'll start with the year of the horse because we're going into the year of
the horse. And I in fact am a horse-born person myself. So it's definitely a year that bodes
really well for everyone born in the year of the horse. If you've been following Flying
Star Feng Shui, the prosperous #8 falls in the South which is the palace of the horse.
However, there is also what's called the Grand Duke element that's causing a little bit of
a trouble for 2014 but it pretty much means whatever projects that you have planned for
the year, there might be minor glitches being thrown in there. So glitches in life and glitches
in our plans. But as long as we stay positive then any horse-born people can pull through
it. The good news is, there's the Golden Lock Star and usually when that element appears
in the chart, that usually means really great financial opportunity. I'm also one to believe
that an opportunity can come your way but if you're not aware of it, then you still
can't make use of that auspicious opportunity. So definitely keep your eye out if you were
born in the year of the horse because there's potentially really good projects, really good
ideas that can come your way that can boost your income. There's also the General Star
and this is a really good energy to have in the chart because that usually means if we
get into trouble or if we're facing some sort of a challenge, we're likely to find someone
or something come around and help us out of that sticky situation. So if there any challenges
or whatever, be mindful that if you know anyone that can help you out it's definitely a great
time to reach out. Even if you don't, it's almost like a divine intervention kind of
energy. Even if you feel like you have your back.... backed towards a corner, know that
there are resources out there that can pull you out of that situation.
So that's for people born in the year of the horse. What about those born in the year of
the sheep?
Definitely great opportunities coming your way as well. There is the Sun Star popping
up in your chart and if you think about the sun, it chases the rain away and it makes
things bright and happy and cheerful again. So with these great opportunities most of
the time they're financially-related as well. So also keep your eye out for anything that
could be coming your way in terms of that. However, there is what's called the Sky Emptiness
Star and that usually means a potential of feeling a little isolated, a little disconnected
from those around you. The thing about the chart is, it's very likely it's just your
mind playing tricks on you it's not necessarily your reality that you're alone and lonely.
It's YOUR perspective that you're alone and lonely. Those around you might not see it
that way. So if you feel that you're kind of stuck in this emotional pattern, know that
you can actually snap out of it because you actually have people around you who wish you
well, who send love and light your way. So another thing too is whenever you need to
make a big decision, and of course this is general good advice, but I do see it in your
chart, if there's a potential life-changing decision that you need to make, just make
sure that you do your homework before you decide on it.
Now let's go to those born in the year of the monkey. I hope you guys like to travel
because with the Sky Horse star in your chart, there definitely is great potential for travelling
this year, and even very likely to be work related. And very similar to those born in
the year of the sheep you might feel isolated and lonely as well especially if you're travelling.
Some people don't like to live out of the suitcase. For other people it's a great adventure.
If you're the first group then pick up the phone, send an email, do a video chat and
that will help you lessen that feeling of being isolated so you'll be okay. Overall
great career and great business outlook for 2014 so that's definitely really good news.
If you were born in the year of the rooster, there's the... there's really really good
outlook for relationship, and we're talking about romantic relationships here. Because
there is the Red Matchmaker star that's in store for you this year. If you're a single
rooster, you're gonna meet someone, very very high potential of that. If you are in a committed
relationship then this is a good year for you to take that extra commitment plunge.
If you are married then this is a really good year for you to rekindle whatever passion
that you feel you may have lost along the way. So the Red Matchmake star definitely
bodes really well for your romantic relationships so you definitely want to capture that opportunity
there. If anyone comes to you with any investment opportunities, do your homework and don't
feel pressured to take on any deals because there is a potential where, if you just dive
into a decision that it could be potentially something that you could regret down the road.
But definitely, overall, luck in love and wealth is really strong, I would definitely
suggest that you guys network, really make this a great networking year - offline, online
- I do see a lot of career doors opening up that way as well.
Now let's move on to what the dog-born people can look out for. Now, if you've been following
flying star feng shui which is the main school of feng shui that I practise, you will know
that the Wu Huang or the Five Yellow flies to the northwest this year which happens to
be the house of the dog as well as the boar. Now, generally speaking, if your astrological
sign is hit with the Five Yellow, you do need to take a little bit more care than usual.
However, for the dog born people, this could actually be a really strong year if you play
your cards right. With the Sochi Olympics coming up next month I'm going to use the
imagery of the podium. Because, you're going to have the Three Stages star in your chart.
It means one, all the work that you've done is going to bring you success, and two, you're
also going to get recognition and acknowledgement for that. So that's definitely a really good
energy for you to work with. And if you're currently in business, it's a really great
year to maybe think about diversifying, if you're not currently in business and especially
if your personal Four Pillars of Destiny chart actually has Indirect Wealth as well, this
might be a good way, a good year for you to branch out and research on potential ways
of increasing your income through a side business or even potentially down the road taking that
business full time. So definitely think about that. There will be a lot of work being piled
on you this year but.... and you're likely to just lock yourself in the office. So if
you have a tendency to be a little bit of a workaholic this year, just take some time
out for yourself and for your family. Otherwise the career will take a boost but other areas
in your life will suffer and you definitely don't want that.
And for those born in the year of the boar, generally not a bad year. I do see a lot of..
in fact, social life will take a great boost. You're gonna meet a lot of people, you're
going to have a lot of fun. I'm also going to suggest that you also socialize professionally.
Network professionally. Because there is a potential that you're going to get connections
that can really help you progress in terms of career. The one thing that you might want
to be mindful of is what's called the Consumer Star. And that usually means potentially a
year of spending a lot of money so you're going to see your wallet being really hammered
this year. So prevention is definitely better than cure. If you have a budget, this is the
year to stick to the budget. If you don't have a budget, this is the year to start a
budget. You definitely don't want to be ending 2014 looking back and realize, 'oh my God,
what have I done?', right? So you definitely want to watch out for that. In terms of people
around you, you DO have what's called Robbery Sha Star. And that usually means that there
will be people around you that don't necessarily have your best interest at heart. So just
be mindful who they could potentially be, distance yourself from them, distance yourself
from situations that could put you in a position where your reputation can be tarnished. So
just be mindful of that. So that's for people born in the year of the boar.
If you were born in the year of the rat, you're likely going into 2014 with huge... with big
plans... very high level of enthusiasm and ambition. Which is great, however there is
a potential of biting off a little bit more than you can chew and in the end feeling a
little dejected from that. So it would be really good if you can take a look at your
plan for the year, what you want to achieve, and maybe scale it down a little bit to more
realistic and more manageable levels so that you don't set yourself up to feeling frustrated
and depressed even. And because you also have what's called the Sky Cry star, there's also
potential for you to be more sensitive than usual. So even if you don't normally reach
out to your friends and family for emotional support, this is definitely a really good
year for you to start doing that. You will need to realize that as much as you want to
project the image of being self-sufficient and strong and all that, it's not a sign of
weakness if you need to reach out to people. I do see this year being one where you need
a little bit more of that emotional support, so definitely allow yourself that support
this year.
For those born in the year of the Ox, you guys are very lucky, I see the Dragon Virtue
star as well as the Emperor star in your chart. Usually the Dragon Virtue star meaning...
it usually means if there's been any long-standing situation that you've been trying to deal
with, this will be the year where that situation actually gets resolution. It could be, obviously
depending on your situation it could be maybe many years of trying to get pregnant and this
is actually the year where the energy starts supporting that and so on and so forth. So
the Dragon Virtue star is really good for that. The Emperor Star means help from noble
people. So if you're ever in a situation where you're in a bit of a bind, you're going to
get that divine intervention or you're going to get help from people or people that you
don't even know and things just resolve with that support. So that's definitely a good
one to have for the year. There is a potential for gossipping and backstabbing. It's just
a little bit of a pain in the behind. The same advice for those born in the year of
the boar, just open up your eyes, be a little more mindful of who you're surrounding yourself
with and then really deciding socially, being a little bit more picky in terms of who you
want to spend your time with. And then also think carefully on any major financial investments
because there is a potential for you to lose some money this year.
So let's take a look at the overview for those born in the year of the tiger. Planning is
key for you this year. And if you can plan better, then that means that you can achieve
more. Don't pile on too much onto your plate, the same thing as for the rat, be realistic
in terms of what you can handle and then take it from there. There will also be petty people
around you this year so just be mindful of that. It's not a huge affliction but at the
same time it's still a little bit of a pain when that happens, so it's better for you
to just distance yourself so that the situation, the likelihood of those situations rubbing
off wrongly on some people, it's better for it to not happen. So just be mindful of that.
If you were born in the year of the rabbit, a really good sign that this will be a great
year, a very happy event happening. There is the energy of the Sky Happiness and that
usually means, it could be marriage, it could be graduation, it could be a baby being born.
So that's definitely really good.... it's always nice to have happy events happening
right? So that's great. If you're a student this is a great academic year, and if you're
working currently it bodes really well in terms of career promotion and career progression.
The only thing is, if you are... if you're a rabbit and you're married, there is likely
to be more temptation this year. There's this energy called Salty Pool star, and that usually
means *** scandals or *** misdemeanor or anything like that. So if temptations pop
up, you might need to have a stronger resolve to stay on the straight and narrow and not
get pulled away.
If you were born in the year of the dragon, the year will throw in a lot of challenges
your way but it's not really anything that you can't handle. You also will have the Sky
Relief star that can help you out to turn things around. It is a great career year so
definitely watch out for opportunities cos' you don't want to miss out on anything like
that. There will be periods of you feeling a little bit lonely and maybe even some relationship
challenges with the prominent females in your life. It can be your sister your aunt or your
mother, even a grandmother. So just be mindful of that, and if things do pop up then definitely
deal with it as opposed to just burying your feelings.
So if you were born in the year of the snake, this is a... if you're currently in school,
this is a great year to be a student. If you're not currently in school, this will be a great
year for you to think about going back to school because academically there's really
really high potential for you to not just find success in what you're studying but really
enjoying your time as a student. So... and also a really good time for you to ... especially
if you're working right now, you could potentially take a course that could really sharpen your
skills, make you more marketable. So that's definitely a really good energy that you want
to capitalize on. You will find periods where you feel like you're not being supported by
your bosses or even your colleagues. But just stay calm, focus on the task at hand and you
will have a fair bit of workload this year but it's nothing that you can't handle. Again,
just focus and you'll pull through it. There is a high chance of communication breakdown
so there will be instances where let's say, you know you're trying to help and a certain
comment comes out and it gets totally taken the wrong way and I can totally see it just
blowing up in your face. So in terms of what you say, in terms of what you do, if it's
something that's not considered your business, even though you have really good intention
to help in that instance, I would suggest that you just step away from that situation
because again, people are, this year at least, they're not going to take as kindly to any
goodwill gesture that you may have. So again, better save yourself that hassle, so pretty
much mind your own business this year and be careful what you say to people because
being misinterpreted... it's high likelihood of that happening.
So that's pretty much in a nutshell my overview of all the 12 astrological signs and again,
for the information that I shared here it's only based on the animal sign that you were
born. We haven't even looked at the other three quarters of the picture where we also
take a look at the month, year and.... sorry, the month, date and hour that you were born
in. So there's definitely more details that can be gleaned from that and if you're ever
curious to know what 2014 has in store for you, I do the Four Pillars of Destiny and
it's something that I can do long distance as well over the phone. So that's definitely
not a problem. Or you can seek out other feng shui consultants who are trained to do the
Four Pillars of Destiny chart for you.
