What are you going to cook? Usirikaya Pulihora (Goose Berry Rice)
Ingredients required to make Usirikaya Pulihora
Rice, Goose Berries, Groundnuts, Bengal Gram, Cashews, White Lentils, Green Chillies, Dry Red Chillies, Mustard Seeds, Cumin, Asafoetida, Curry Leaves, Turmeric, Salt, Oil
Take a pan and heat it
Have some rice boiled & ready for use and grind the goose berries
Heat some oil on a medium flame
Add some groundnuts
Add some bengal gram and white lentils
Add some cashews and some mustard seeds
Add some cumin and some asafoetida powder
Add a few dry red chillies
Add some green chillies
Add a pinch of turmeric powder
Finally, add a few curry leaves and turn off the stove
Add some ground goose berry (amla paste) into the cooked rice
Add a pinch of turmeric powder
Add some salt as required
Mix the rice
Add the fried groundnuts and chillies into the rice and mix well
