Okay. So now we're in this grass bunker, we're not far from the green, but we're on this
side hill lie. So you can see, the ball is above my feet, which means if I swing a full
club, I'm going to just smash it into the side hill here. So, I've got to choke down
on my club, I'm going to stand relatively tall, I'm going to aim to the right of the
flag, because the ball has a tendency on these side hill lies to go from the right to the
left. Cause this creates a natural type of hook or draw on the ball. So, I'm going to
have a neutral club face here, and I'm going to aim a little bit to the right, of the flag,
and I'm going to take a small back-swing, but I'm going to make, but I'm going to make
sure that I follow through. And that shot stayed pretty straight, so I'm going to try
now to close the face a little bit. Now this one's even a little higher up, so I got to
choke down even more. And I'm going to aim not quite as far to the right now. But remember
in a golf match, you don't get two shots, so that's why you want to practice these.
Okay, so that wasn't so good, I skulled it, because I hit the ground. But, since this
is an instructional video, I get to do another try here. So, we're going to try this again.
But these are the problems that you run into in these shots, is their very important shots.
And, now that one's right on target. So three strikes and I'm in. So the idea here is, you
want to work on these shots a lot and practice, so when you face this in a match, in a round
of golf, you make this shot, you execute it under pressure. And the only way to get expert
at these shots is to spend some time practicing them.
