Well, I'm Jan. And...
...this is Julian.
Favics - the name 'Favics', the word 'Favics' is a combination of the words 'fashion' and 'victims'.
But with no negative connotation. We have learned that people who are intensely
engaged in fashion call themselves 'fashion victims' and we felt that this name fits perfectly.
Favics is a social network for people who are enthusiastic about fashion
underground fashion labels, designers, fashion blogger and photographers.
To connect with each other, for labels contacting photographers, for users contacting photographers,
for labels contact users: "Are you interested in modelling for us? I have a photographer in town."
And thats how Favics works.
I have a lot of friends who tried to build up their own fashion label, but always missed
a plattform to offer their clothing and to market them in a focussed way, to a focussed target group
not to a group, where you dont know where to start marketing.
This is how the idea was born - to bundle these people in one plattform - this is how favics was born.
The big difference of Favics to Facebook for example - I guess this is what you are asking for
is that we concentrate the target group. This means we guarantee labels and designers
to advertise their products in an optimal way, because there is only this one target group using Favics
in contrary to Facebook, which is a plattform absolutely everybody uses.
You will use favics when you are interested in fashion, extraordinary fashion.
When you are interested in fashion, which is not available at H&M or Zara.
When you are interested in fashion created by young designers and creative people.
Favics is not a "me-too" of any other social network, rather have we picked the best aspects
of all established plattforms and thought about how we can utilize this in the best way,
especially focussed on fashion.
Depending on the activity, each user will later have the chance to cath the attention
of potential investors, to be supported by them financially.
Especially independent people.
"One mans vision", this is the most important aspect for me.
If one has an idea or a vision, that he has the chance to follow his dream
and to succeed with his project.
We do want to monetarize Favics in future by enabling sales via Favics.
At the moment we develop an independent shop-system
and of course we will take a share of these sales, because we have the function of a broker
But for all normal, private users Favics will stay free of charge for ever.
Because Favics is a pure online product the internet will be our main marketing plattform, defintely.
Favics will also spread via word-of-mouth which is already working for other social networks.
"Hey, are you already registered?" "No, whats that? I'll take a look at it."
The second major aspect is that our topic is "fashion".
A lot of people are interested in fashion and thats why word-of-mouth will start very fast.
At the moment we are very interested in finding cooperation partners, bloggers - fashion bloggers
we are also in close contact with YouTube-Bloggers who are already very excited about Favics.
and will immediatly start reporting as soon as the beta-version is available.
Our very cool image film also makes it easy for us to spread the word and to catch peoples attention:
"Hey, here we are! This is new! This is by young people for young people."
